High Unemployment Is Changing Our World

Some see constitutional democracies growing out of the current turmoil. Referenced in Libya. That changed with Saif al-Islam Gaddafi address. The peace was broken, blood flowed. The unemployed were restless. Inflation with high unemployment, once thought impossible.

Had Libya's leaders focused on the unemployed, read some of the pubic discourse, they would have learned from the words used, Libyans saw Saif al-Islam Gaddafi as a king, a true leader. A King that could have solved their unemployment. Today, forget King, easy fixes are gone as each side sees a Libyan future without the other.

Many point the finger at Iran. Yet, Iran has had its own recent revolution. It would only stir passions at home, should they be caught gaming the unrest. So far, these uprising have not been the work of religion. Even in Bahrain, the common theme is employment and opportunity. The initial segmentation is religion. The problem is unemployment.
